The Volcano Park is in the East Eifel in the centre of a region dominated by agriculture and forestry. The central location of the Volcano Park means that it has become a recreation area for Koblenz/Neuwied and for the conurbation of Cologne/Bonn. The Volcano Park is also only about an hour away from Frankfurt or Trier.
